I provide assistance to patrons of the library who are looking to learn more about their ancestors. With the explosion of interest in finding one's "roots" and the accessibility of information on the web, it is nor uncommon to help someone (or a family) connect to family members 8-10 generations past. A great asset to finding and confirming long ago family members is the ability to link primary sources to them via the web. It is reasonably simple to attach 2-10 sources (birth, death, marriage, military, etc.) to people who lived in the 1800s.

I have the opportunity to fill in for teachers on an 'as need' basis on all grade levels. Normally, one day assignments are communicated on the school district's website or via an automated phone call system. A successful day means no one in the office saw or smelled smoke.I juggle this great opportunity between volunteering at the Riverton Family Search Library and driving a bus on field trips for the school district.

I have the privilege of picking up students and take them to school and then pick them up after classes. This includes all grade levels and students who are "special need". Being on-call means I get phone calls as early as 5:00 AM requesting me to drive that particular day.IN addition, I get to drive students and their teachers on field trips: museums, sporting events, etc.
