I spent 18 years with KPMG providing a range of IT advisory services to many UK and global organisations such as; Amec, Bunzl, Camelot, East Midlands Ambulance Service, Goldsmiths, GVA Grimley, Halfords, JATO, M&M, Poundland, Regenersis, SIG, Taylor Wimpey, Telent, and United Biscuits.I acted as a lead advisor and sounding board to many organisations undergoing strategic change. I lead KPMG’s IT strategy work at Oxford Brookes University, AF Blakemore, a major telco, several county councils, a large scale high street retailer and distributor, several property consultancies and a major automotive sales group.Whilst at KPMG I provided Independent Programme Assurance (IPA) to companies, implementing large scale ERP systems including SAP, MS Dynamics AX and Oracle. This included providing IPA services on what was at the time, the largest global implementation of MS Dynamics AX.I also advised on the selection and implementation of IT systems at, Sanctuary Housing Association, The Guinness Partnership, The Church of England, Home Retail Group (Argos and Homebase), Aston Martin, Colliers, several large local authorities, Doosan Power Systems, Midcounties co-op and many other organisations.I specialise in the assessment of IT during business transactions and led KPMG’s IT due diligence on over 200 transactions including mergers, acquisitions and disposals across Europe, Russia and the Americas. These have ranged from IPOs and MBOs, to refinancing transactions.
