    In May, 2012, Cisco acquired Truviso, a streaming analytics start-up. Both Cisco and Truviso were my consulting clients at the time and I joined Cisco alongside the acquisition. Connected Streaming Analytics (CSA) is Cisco’s product based on Truviso’s software. Technical achievements:. Implemented high-availability configuration for CSA release 1.0 (RHEL cluster). Integrated netflow input and binary data processing into CSA Java framework. Built development lab combining simulation and bare metal routers and servers forfunctionality and scale testing (Cisco VIRL – OpenStack based, VMWare ESXi, UCS servers). Adapted CSA streaming engine (PostgreSQL based – C) to run embedded in Cisco devices(Cisco IOS-XE, Yocto Linux, PowerPC and x86) for IoT projectsCreated and presented training material on Truviso’s streaming system to Cisco engineering andservices groups. Participated in development and release of CSA. Acted as technical leader fornewly-formed software development team in Shanghai. Presented CSA to customers.Implemented CSA at customer sites.
