Senior Manager level position. EPL (Enhancing Personal Leadership). Position required Director nomination and VP confirmation. Lead member of a small team of company professionals. EPL is a company wide program that consists of various leadership modules that are administered in (3 to 4 hour sessions) to all levels of company leadership, approximately 2000. EPL Modules are sponsored by company VPs. Additionally, I assisted in the development of EPL Mini-Modules, which are 10 to 15 minute video segments focused on company core leadership principles and/or priorities. EPL Mini Module video segments are delivered by company Vice Presidents and are provided via network link to all levels of company leadership. My key role was assisting with module development, writing EPL Mini Module video content and facilitating EPL modules/sessions. This required close and frequent interaction with senior and executive leadership and ultimately, all levels of company leadership in order to ensure that module/curriculum content was in alignment with VP departmental goals, key business objectives and the overall strategic focus of the company as a whole.

Primarily responsible for all Maintenance Planning and Storeroom activities at Pascagoula MS, Gulfport MS and Avondale LA locations. Managed 35 to 40 represented and non-represented employees across various site locations. Managed managers. Included the oversight of planning, procurement, inventory management and installation of more than $50M annually in parts, materials and vendors services. Included the management, completion and closure of 3000 to 5000 annual work orders across 3 sites (2 states). Developer and system administrator for MITS (Maintenance Information and Tracking System). Managed Section Managers and Storeroom Foreman who themselves managed represented and non represented personnel. The Maintenance Planning group directly supported the Maintenance Foreman and more than 200 maintenance techs who maintained over 600 acres of facilities, infrastructure, shops, rolling stock and equipment for 6000+ shipbuilders at Ingalls Pascagoula alone. Some activities included emergent work, planned maintenance tasks and various continuous improvement projects intended to reduce equipment downtime and/or optimize utilization with regard to operators, equipment and technicians.

Middle manager reporting to Sector Manager. Lead the effort to stand up a Maintenance Planning organization to support the Maintenance Depts at Pasc, Gulfport and Avondale. Used existing manning and resources in the Maintenace Dept. Developed roles, responsibilities, information and process flows. Also, designed MITS (Maintenance Information and Tracking System) to be used as the primary asset management, work order, data collection, metric and performance evaluation tool. Minimum cost and implementation for a comparable CMMS was $3M. MITS is still in use today and the Maintenance Planning group still remains an integral part of the continued success of HII-Ingalls Maintenance (Facilities).
