CurrentPmacEnergy Ltd is set up to develop a new renewable Waste to Energy facility in Teesside.PMAC ENERGY will be a facility for the treatment and recovery of municipal and commercial waste by creating fuel from the waste for the renewable energy sector, utilising waste as a resource for the production of both heat and power.Using tried and tested technologies and economies of scale that is safe and fully achievable in the local North East area, both creating a sustainable outlet for the huge amounts of waste in the area and the UK.PMAC Energy are focused on using the most innovative and efficient technologies currently in use as part of our long-term strategy. The plant works by burning Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) and C&I waste to generate steam. The steam then drives a turbine to generate electricity. The technology used at the proposed plant will produce a substantial amount of electricity and enough energy to power 56,000 homes across the Teesside area.
