Finishing Lead,Manage up to eight people in the Finishing department. Coordinate work, train new employees on machine procedures and all safety measures. I keep the department clean and ahead of schedule. Shift Lead Relief,When the shift lead is out, it is my responsibility to take over. I manage up to 30 people in the plant, communicating to the rest of the department leads to make sure everything is running smoothly. I fill out the end of the shift paper work and report to the plant manager everything of note that happened during the shift. Quality Control Relief,I take over the lab when the lab tech is out. I take samples of every line running in the plant and perform a battery of tests to ensure a quality product. It is my responsibility to get the tests done in a timely manner and to quickly inform the department leads if their product is showing out of spec.
