I was a police officer with the Halton Regional Police Service since November 1987. I have worked in uniform patrol, criminal investigation, homicide investigation, fraud investigation, middle management as a patrol sergeant and platoon staff sergeant. I have also spent 3 years as the manager of Community Policing Support Services where I oversaw the growth of the police auxiliary unit, and the development of a region-wide bullying awareness campaign, which was created in partnership with the school boards. I also led the development team that created a new educational police program delivered to all Grade 6, 7 and 8 students in Halton Region.I managed Traffic Services which included Collision Reconstruction and coordinating all traffic enforcement initiatives.
