Rob is responsible for all development activities from concept to occupancy, including site selection, due diligence, acquisition, zoning/permitting, management of all A&E activities, contractor bidding and negotiation, and owner representation activities to insure on-time/on-budget delivery of mixed-use and self storage developments. Rob has a proven track record in leading projects that achieve investment goals within challenged yet distinctive properties.Prior to joining Keeley Properties, Rob was Vice President of Development at Cullinan Properties, a national real estate development concern focused on commercial and multifamily initiatives. Having led large scale, mixed-use projects over the last several years such as Chroma, Clover at Olive Crossing, and Iris at Cortex, Rob brings significant owner representation leadership to the Keeley Properties platform. Rob’s 30 years of experience also includes a substantial background in retail development having completed more than $700 million in projects while at May Department Stores and Westfield.Rob gained critical design skills early in his career as an architect with both NBBJ (Columbus, OH) and Hastings + Chivetta Architects (St. Louis, MO). This experience provided a foundation in commercial development that was then applied to represent owners developing major, unique construction projects throughout the country. Highlighting this experience was Rob’s leadership in the redevelopment of the Stifel Theater. The $78 million historic renovation of the former Kiel Opera House breathed new life into a 3,200 seat live performance venue in the heart of Downtown St. Louis.
