Rob Lochner Vice President of Development Rob leads development and municipal related activities for Streets of St. Charles, Lofts at Euclid and other upcoming projects in the St. Louis market and throughout the Cullinan portfolio. He is involved in construction management, tenant coordination, conceptual site layouts, schedules and budgets, acquisition due diligence, and leading and obtaining state, federal and/or city subsidies for assigned developments. Prior to joining Cullinan Properties in 2019, Rob served as Vice President of Project Development for St. Louis based Koman Group. He was responsible for all development activities from concept to occupancy, including site selection, due diligence, acquisition, zoning/permitting, management of all A&E activities, contractor bidding and negotiation and owner representation activities to insure on-time/on-budget delivery. Preceeding Koman, Rob was Vice President of Development at Clayco Realty Group and Optimus, both national real estate development companies focused on commercial and multi-family initiatives. Rob’s 25+ years of experience also includes a substantial background in retail development, having completed more than $700 million in projects while at May Department Stores and Westfield. Rob is a graduate of University of Kansas where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture. He is a licensed architect in the state of Missouri and is a member of the Architectural Review Board for the City of Ladue and St. Louis University High School Facilities Committee

Currently invested in and managing the development of Chroma, a $52M mixed use apartment project in the eclectic Grove neighborhood in St. Louis scheduled to deliver in 2018 and a multi-phased office and residential project in the rapidly growing Cortex district in St. Louis.

Key team member of full service Real Estate Development Company operating under the Clayco brand, responsible for delivering mixed use, commercial, and multi-family pipeline. Directed site selection, acquisition, entitlements and public incentives, design and construction, joint venture relationships, permitting, and third party management. Managed over $100M in development projects.

Directed the development of $110M of investment in signature entertainment, senior living, and multi-use properties. Secured critical public incentives and delivered projects that met visioning, investment, and construction goals. Managed $78M Peabody Opera House entertainment project and the Den, a $26M, 552 bed student housing development at the University of Missouri, Columbia.

Authored and directed major retail redevelopment projects for super regional malls nationwide for world's largest retail REIT. Lead contact for major retailers such as Macy's, Dick's Sporting Goods, Barnes and Noble, as well as local municipalities, consultants and financial partners.
