I am a motivated and experienced housing professional. I have 15 years’ experience working across the housing sector. I have gained experience in estates management, housing management, temporary accommodation, community empowerment, administration, facilities management, income collection, health and safety, social enterprise, volunteer management, working with young people, customer services and project management during this time.I have a passion for event management with experience of licencing, budget setting and logistics and site planning and risk assessments. As part of these roles I have over 10 years experience in event management in a social housing context. I have planned everything from focus groups and tea dances to fun days and film premieres. I am comfortable around computers and Information technology and keen to get the most out of the available systems. I was systems administrator for a tenant participation database system for 7 years. I am team player and work well with others. I have used my experience of technology to train my colleagues and have written a suite of training documents to help embed these skills. I am innovative and have a passion to disseminate knowledge throughout the organisation particularly where it allows more efficient use of existing resources and colleagues to work smarter not harder. I have also project managed a garage refurbishment programme and playground redevelopment project with a budget of £45000I have experience working with young people having conceived, managed and brought to fruition both a Film Project , working with young people to make an intergenerational film and managed a photographic workshop programme.
