2020 Bachelor of Accounting graduate with First Class Honours. In September 2020, having been awarded a prestigious Dean's Excellence Scholarship, I began studying for a Master of Science degree in International Accounting and Finance at the University of Strathclyde, which was the next progressive step in furthering my knowledge. Having maintained excellent grades throughout, I earned the degree of MSc in International Accounting and Finance with Distinction and won a departmental award for best student performance.In October 2021, having been selected for one of only four available Global Research Scholarships, I began concurrently studying for a PhD in Accounting and Finance and a PG Certificate in Research Methodology at the University of Strathclyde under the supervision of Professor Dr. Lars Helge Hass and Dr. Muhan Hu. PhD thesis focuses on corporate finance and employee health.Current research interests lie in the areas of venture capital, private equity, finance and labour, accounting and labour, health economics, corporate governance, IPOs, M&As, and accounting disclosure by both public and private firms.Member of the British Accounting and Finance Association (BAFA), the American Finance Association (AFA), and the Financial Management Association (FMA).
