• Designed numerous electric motors for military and oil/gas drilling operations.• Performed certification testing and documentation for various certifying agencies including ATEX, CSA, IECEx, ABS and DNV.• Developed air flow measurement system for testing of electric motors and blowers.• Performed shock and vibration analysis on DOD electronic enclosures.• Travelled to customer's facilities to cooperatively develop custom motor applications.

• Directed the design, analysis and supported the manufacture of glass conditioning systems. • Designed a servo driven Internally Cooled Blow Head mechanism that provided an average 10% improvement in bottle quality and time to manufacture. • Designed cooling systems using the Coanda effect which provided a 50% reduction in compressed air consumption. • Traveled to customer’s facilities to install prototype equipment for real world testing.

• Directed the design, analysis and manufacture of high speed rotating equipment such as flywheels and dynamometers.• Designed turbine engine test stands and electronic controls. • Updated Quality System to be ISO 9001 compliant.

• Directed the development of the Gerber Profile. The Profile is a 3-axis CNC routing system developed for the packaging industry. • Developed a patented method to improve overall machining accuracy while maintaining the use of inexpensive components. • Supported the manufacturing personnel to develop Lean-manufacturing methods.

• Directed the company’s design and fabrication of custom machine tools used in various industries (i.e., automotive, aerospace, appliance, music, etc.) • Machine development included robotic (ABB and Motomann) and PLC controlled multi-axis systems.
