In my current role as Assistant Head of Sport, I oversee and continually work on improving the schools sport program, looking to constantly boost engagement and participation rates. I also have a primary focus on managing scheduling, operations and events throughout each term to ensure this is run to the highest possible standard. After graduating from the University of Chichester with a BSc (Hons) in Sports Management & Coaching, I wanted to continue my passion for coaching and coordinating. Post university, I began coaching at Playball, where I coached children in over seven sports and coordinated many sport camps, events and festivals throughout the year. I have also created sports based programs for Theraplay TV, a streaming service that offers a wide range of inclusive and adapted content developed for children & young people of all abilities with a focus on supporting those with autism, physical & neurological conditions & developmental delays. Previously being a Head Coach and Sports Coordinator it really allowed me to use my leadership and team work skills by supporting and training a variety of coaches as well as focusing on my coordinating and administration skills to ensure all lessons, camps, events and festivals are run smoothly and executed to a great level. I also had a primary focus on improving and developing participation numbers through the use of building, creating and maintaining relationships as well as marketing our brand to to maximise participation numbers.
