About Logan Woods
I am a former English teacher and aspiring full-stack developer with experience in a variety of coding languages including C#, SQL, Python, Javascript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS. Though my first career was in education, I have had a lifelong interest in technology and how it functions--an interest that I have now had the chance to pursue as a boot camp student!As a student at my boot camp, Grand Circus, I have learned not only about coding languages themselves, but also about standards, systems, and frameworks commonly used throughout the industry. As a result, I have had experience not only with languages such as C#, but also frameworks such as .NET, ASP.NET, Angular, and Entity. I have also learned how these frameworks connect to--and interface with--Databases and APIs. Through another course--edX's "Introduction to Computer Science and Programming"--I have even had a chance to gain some experience with another back end language: Python. This course, taught by professors from MIT's department of Computer Science, provided a solid background in Python should I have to work with a back end system using that language.When not coding, I enjoy learning about--and tinkering with--consumer hardware, playing games, and reading fiction and nonfiction on any subject (but especially History and classic Literature).
