R. Michael Loh: I have strong communication skills, a drive for excellence, and I highly value working out details. My experience is in lithium-ion NMC battery materials developed for EV applications. These materials include middle nickel and high nickel compositions with both single crystal and polycrystal morphologies.I have experience in physical characterization methods such as scanning electron microscopy (SEM), particle size distribution (PSD), and pressed density testing of NMC cathode materials.I also have experience in electrochemical testing of coin half cells in mixing slurries, casting electrodes, building cells, and analyzing electrode capacity, rate capability, and cycling performance.As an R&D scientist, I design and perform experiments, and present results focused on achieving customer requirements and communicating current progress and next steps.I strive for excellence in everything I do and find that the best work experiences are those with people who share my drive and enjoy the journey as we make something great together.
