I'm currently an intermediate account manager for large group accounts with Blue Shield. I manage a variety of large group accounts, from fully funded to ASO, self funded accounts. The territory I am currently responsible for is the central valley from Stockton to Bakersfield.

Regional account manager for small group in the following central CA counties; Tulare, Kings, Kern, and Inyo Counties.

I was the inside sales representative for the San Diego County. Responsible for supporting new sales, quoting, enrollment presentation, and renewal presentations for all lines of products my company represented (medical, dental, life, vision, LTD, STD...etc). In 2008, I changed territories, and I became the inside sales representative for the San Mateo.

In such a competitive business enviroment my job was to maintain a strong relationship with our general agents. This included having an average goal of 80% of all small group new business sales from our GA partners. In charge, but not limited to business presentations, new sales questions, pre-underwriting, quotes, and elevated service issues. At the end.

In this role I supported new sales, and the sales executive in a specific region within CA and AZ. This included, but was not limited to quotes, underwriting, and sales questions. Broker level issues with new sales, renewal business, commissons, and customer service.

During this time at Aetna, I worked in a variety of different departments. I started as a CSR, but quickly moved up to lead. In time I was the appeals/correspondence representative in charge of CA HMO, and Medicare correspondence, and appeals. This also included supporting the appeals for the PA, and the NJ Chip Program.
