• Check daily cash and asset reconciliations, monthly accounting packages, and quarterly financials and investor statements, to ensure accurate information before it is sent to the client.• Interview, train, and teach new hire classes to help build and progress staff accountants to help them become an integral part of their team as well as prepare them with the necessary tools to advance their career. • Research and resolve errors or breaks that are either system generated or discrepancies between what our system shows and what the market is showing. This includes interest payments/accruals on derivatives or bonds as well as system generated monthly accruals.• Run weekly phone calls with the client and auditors as well as assist on any due diligence calls with potential investors.

• Manage a team of junior accountants to ensure that their daily, monthly, and quarterly deliverables are met.• Act as the point of contact for client’s who need assistance or have any questions as well as fulfill any adhoc requests that the client may have.• Create new schedules at the client’s request and update or create schedules to assist in month and quarter end processes. This includes interest rate schedules and reconciliation schedules.

• Work on the Investor Management Services team concentrating on private equity clients that include fund of funds and direct investment clients.• Responsibilities include creating financial and performance reports, creating and accounting for partner capital statements, building schedules and reports in Investran, booking daily cash movement, and other ad hoc requests.• Assisted in doing a conversion for a client to transition them into the SunGard Investran database as well as from Investran database to Geneva database. Assisted in completing a reconciliation report between a client and their investments.
