Worked as a developer on the Laser Finance System. I left the company to move to South Africa in Decenber 2009.

I set up Ashview Software to provide outsourcing services to corporations in both the US and UK. Ashview where successful in securing contracts with both software development providers and end-user corporations. Development was split between on-site development and in our offices in Ireland. I travelled frequently between the US and Europe managing development teams on both sides of the Atlantic and was Chief Architect for all business applications development.

I headed the development teams in both in the US and UK for Pick Systems Edge Framework Product. The Edge suite of applications was sold to VAR's worldwide to enable them to develop bespoke accounting and business software. Edge was a RAD framework product that included a full suite of customizable accounting, inventory and distribution software. It also included a range of tools to allow in-house developers to quickly customize and enhance the existing packages and to develop new ones. Source code was provided in MS Visual Basic and the data could be stored in any ANSI complaint SQL database as well as Pick D3. All applications where multi-lingual, multi-user and ran in on MS Windows operating systems.I was the sole designer for the application and as well as development I was also responsible for developer and end-user training and for sales and marketing support.
