Hello, My name is Robert Lowden and I am a digital artist with skills in illustration, 3D animation and modeling as well as compositing and video editing. My skill sets are in painting and compositing in Photoshop, Painter and After Effects while I model texture, animate and light in 3D Max ( mostly ) and sometimes in Cinema 4D. The 3D painting/ sculpting packages that I use are ZBrush while Max is the modeler that I tend to use most often. At this time I am using Unreal Engine for environments for video work.My initial training was as a painter, illustrator and sculptor in a regular art school analog setting, studying under Olga Seem and Raoul De la Sota. I then went on to study with Steve Huston and worked under Paul Lasaigne and Ron Lucas at Dreamworks animation. After Effects and Mocha for are what I use to composite and track, while utilizing Cinema 4d's integration with AE. Premiere is my general choice to edit with. I have strong green screen and matte painting abilities which together with my 3D abilities allows me to blend video and 3D elements. I have tracking, rotoscoping, keying and effects skills that I employ regularly. For 2D animation I use After Effects and Photoshop to create and integrate animation into websites or other media. I can do most common special effects work... such muzzle Flashes , particle stuff, object removal/ replacement, wire removal, fog, sky change / removal , roto, tracking and all or most of the standard things. Hopefully, my resume reflects a good deal of high pressure production experience on 7 feature films and animations.Lately my focus has been on particle systems namely Tyflow. I have had production experience in television, print, the web and game level design. . My assignments have included stints at Universal, Dreamworks, Disney and Sony on various feature animations, films and campaigns. as well as designing assets for various game engines. I also have served an awful lot of Small Business Customers over the years. Logos, motion graphics,web site design, animations, explainer videos, print stuff, etc,etc ............ I try to be as versatile as possible and a team player. Those are traits that seem to keep a production healthy so I tend to value them. Robert Lowden
