Most of these applications focused on government document processing, especially registrar of deeds data. Two notable projects that I served as sole author of were titlesearcher.com and efile. Titlesearcher.com allows title attorneys (and others) to search deeds in any of the counties served by BIS. Titlesearcher uses a MySQL database to index the nearly 6 terabytes of available deed images. Efile is a system that allows deeds to be filed, paid for, and approved electronically. Both systems operate in near real time, and also serve as a backup for their respective registrar clients. I also assumed a leadership role, leading the development of several other web based systems with a team of programmers working under me.
