Experienced and results-driven Electrical and Instrumentation Tradesman with an excellent track record in E/I trade across 19 years. Whilst currently undertaking a tenure of nearly 13 years at Alcoa refinery and prior BHP Nickel West for 6 years including permanent and contracting through DIAB Engineering, I bring a wealth of knowledge and skill set with me to any prospective industry setting. My roles have included the installation, maintenance, and fault-finding of electrical and instrumentation systems crucial to the successful running of the alumina and nickel plant processes. My repertoire at both Alcoa and BHP have exposed me to diverse challenges in large-scale operations where I have developed confidence and efficiency in all areas of this work: an expert knowledge of electrical and instrumentation practice, project leadership, problem-solving, regulatory compliance, and strong interpersonal skills where I have fostered strong working relationships with colleagues and team members. Mechanically minded with an excellent aptitude for rectifying production issues, I make sound calculated decisions under pressure without compromising integrity and safety.
