I'm a retired U.S. Marine who joined the CREW Land & Water Trust after a long and varied career in government, academia and the nonprofit sector in the United States and abroad. Since relocating to Southwest Florida, I've also taught sustainability courses at Florida Gulf Coast University. I'm a graduate of Norwich University, National University, the Naval Postgraduate School, George Washington University and Fielding Graduate University, where I received an M.A. Human and Organizational Systems and a Ph.D. in Organizational Development & Change. Along the way, I've studied Bahasa Indonesia and Vietnamese and lived in work in Hanoi, Jakarta and throughout Asia where I've made lifelong friends and colleagues. I never tire of learning new things or trying to make the world a better and kinder place for all living things.
