On behalf of Fujitsu, Robert served as a senior project manager for the Service Alberta Ministry,, provincial government of Alberta. In this role Robert led and managed mutiple initiatives including the implementation for the Disaster Recovery program for the critical business applications portfolio through all phases of the project life cycle.Robert also led and managed the upgrade implementation of ORACLE 11 to ORACLE 12C for critical business applications. Introducing a new version of ORACLE into the ministry’s technological ecosystem he led the program through all phases of the project life cycle.

Robert led the technology program at the new Rogers Place arena, one of the largest and highest profile projects the province of Alberta has seen. Robert managed multiple internal and external teams to deliver multiple technology scopes concurrently on behalf of Rogers Communications to the City of Edmonton and the Edmonton Oilers Entertainment Group (OEG);

For TELUS, Robert led information security projects through various phases of the project lifecycle. Using an overlapping waterfall approach Robert managed cross-functional teams to achieve project strategic and tactical goals.

For Chemco, Robert used an Agile approach to manage the requirements capture and configuration of the prototype for an enterprise asset management and purchasing system model into Chemco’s application ecosystem. Robert also performed as Scrum Master for the IT Delivery team providing direction and leadership managing multiple product and project outcomes concurrently.

In the COE service delivery model, Robert responded to business and operational service requests to complete the development, upgrade and implementation of IS solutions. Using both Agile and Waterfall approaches Robert provided project management services to City of Edmonton (COE) customers managing multiple large cross-functional projects concurrently through all phases of the project lifecycle ensuring all projects’ deliverables are completed, met quality and safety standards while achieving the desired outcomes. Robert performed both as a Senior Project Manager and as a Program Manager directly supporting the ITB CIO. Robert successfully drove multiple program streams concurrently, providing cost, quality and risk management; executive customer service and communication engagement to program stakeholders.

As a project manager in the IS Operations and Tech Strategy groups, Robert participated in the TELUS Service Delivery model and executed on programs and portfolios to support, upgrade existing systems and introduce new technologies into the TELUS Enterprise network. Robert concurrently managed and provided leadership to multiple, diverse cross-functional project teams in the implementation of custom and packaged IS solutions. Solutions included application development, business process development and implementation, database migrations, new technology pilots, interface and middleware upgrades, new SAP modules Support Packs, SAP module and Support Packs Upgrades across the TELUS SAP ERP. Responding to service requests and operational issues impacting TELUS customers, Robert has led teams of forty plus resources in both local and remote environments ensuring all project success criteria were met. As part of the operations groups, Robert engaged with HR groups to plan and deliver business process projects and was engaged in understanding and communicating how projects fit into the TELUS corporate vision and how his teams would assist in achieving these goals.
