  Co-founder of STEM-focused independent school for academically gifted learners, Preschool – Eighth Grade, in highly-competitive Washington, DC-area market.- Develop and maintain a clear Mission, Vision, and school culture, enabling the school to compete with larger, long-established schools in recruiting talented students and faculty.- Grew annual revenue from none at inception to more than $2,300,000 while steadily increasing class size and tuition.- Work with the Board of Trustees and Head of School to set annual budget; establish and implement strategic goals with respect to tuition and financial aid.- Help manage the school’s advertising efforts; coordinate open houses, tours, school fairs, and speaker events.- Evaluate all financial aid applications and determine awards where appropriate; prepare enrollment contracts with exceptional attention to detail.- Gather feedback from parents and faculty; continually refresh and upgrade student opportunities, driving both student and faculty retention rates.- Oversee the annual giving campaign; craft results-oriented appeal letters. - Meet and cultivate relationships with prospective major donors.- Help ensure the annual gala / silent auction’s success, recruiting parent volunteers and obtaining high-dollar-value donations.- Led a successful Capital Campaign to purchase a $3,250,000 property for campus construction in 2017. - Represent the school as a speaker in the local community as well as nationally on topics including school administration and early childhood talent development.
