I have been in the packaging industry for many years. Very fortunate to get hired by a few fortune 100 Companies. As I climbed the management ladder in these companies, they invested heavily in my training. After many great seminars and training classes, I was hooked. Wanting to know as much as I could, I volunteered for many of the training seminars. Over time, as an avid reader, I read books on some of the best selling business authors and speakers. It was like going back to college. Actually it was better than college since they focused on business that I was making my living at. There is a saying that "if you enjoy what you do, you will never work a day in your life! I sincerely felt that way my entire business career. I have tried very consistently to work with the people I was responsible for. My end of year gifts, for years, was to hand out my favorite best selling business books ( I am sure it was a disappointing gift to many people, LOL). My dedication to learning my trade has been a great part of my success. I have been very fortunate to have worked with excellent people and was able to build teams that excelled. Quite an exhilerating experience. Perhaps that is why I love business so much....Over the years, building strong and successful teams has been the most motivating part of my job. Wherever I am, I always try to get the people I work with to dedicate themselves to learning and being a part of a team of successful people. Robert M. Stern
