As a Business Development Manager it was my responsibility to drive project sales through through the Kohler Distribution network.To develop business market partners like Consulting Engineers and Business Owners are identified for the purpose of promoting Kohler Power Products and solutions. Support in developing custom solutions around customer power needs while being mindful of project constraints such as budget, footprint, and delivery.I developed custom training material to educate both customers and distributors on technical product aspects, electrical and mechanical engineering topics, project management, and how to navigate and support the Kohler network.

As an outside sales engineer with Eaton I was tasked with developing relationships with end users and creating a relationship with the emerging renewable market in New Jersey.I was able to identify and create a working relationship with many large solar integrators and or EPC's in this market creating a substantial amount of business within this sector for Eaton. Working with Eaton on product release I became familiar with developmental process and how manufacturers support developing markets.

In this position I was tasked with supporting 7 outside salesman by creating scopes of work and bills of material which would support the Bid-Spec-Buy market.It was my responsibility to ensure that the BOM where accurate and released in a timely fashion. I also supported many of the initial calls on the projects.As my experience grew so did my responsibilities which led to me also support many of the project management activities demanded by the projects sold into this market.
