To Whom It May Concern,My professional experiences are rooted in years of river guiding, teaching kayaking, teaching snowboarding and skiing. I have been trained as a EMT and a WFR. I then moved into education, first three years in experiential education where I worked guiding teenagers in the outdoors, then four years as a public school science teacher. I have also spent a combined four years teaching at private high schools, first for students with ASD and then an inclusive school providing many accommodations for a wide variety of students. I have developed and utilized a variety of curriculums and utilized a variety of online and hands-on adaptive learning materials to both help students and create open lines of communication with interested parties. I have tracked data and utilized end learning goals to implement the best educational experience I can.My educational background is robust. I hold an undergraduate in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. Along with my teaching certificate, with the multiple endorsements and certifications, I also hold two Master's degrees. My first Masters is in teaching from Westminster College where I studied Secondary Education and utilized an abundance of educational technologies. My second and most recent Masters is from the University of Utah, where I studied a combination of GIS technologies along with business administration. During my time at the University of Utah, I also finished a project with the Utah State Department of Agriculture in utilizing GIS technologies, both in the office and the field. I have experience in programing a variety of languages, including R and Python, and I am currently working on my HTML and CSS for better understanding front-end development.I have a culmination of experiences which has given me a good background in client management, outdoor guiding, education, business administration, general chemical, physical and biological sciences, computer science and GIS technologies.
