Worked with a team of other networking engineers involved with converting all Walgreens stores to VoIP from analog phones.Upgraded Routers from 2821 to 2921 routers including upgrading IOS, DSP firmware & troubleshooting BGP along with any other router issues.Configured Cisco Switches for VoIP including Quality of Service & VLAN configurations.Worked with onsite technicians on the day of conversion to implement final router configurations including Ephone & Dial Peer configurations, Voice Port configurations for additional store lines that Walgreens uses.Testing backup of VoIP to ensure phones can register locally on the router to minimize downtime in case of circuit issues.Made test calls out of the store including emergency services to ensure calls are using the correct dial peers coming in and out of the store.Working with onsite technician making sure drive thru, music on hold & paging is working correctly moving from analog to digital.
