I opened my own pub in October 2014, the Prairie Schooner Taphouse, a freehouse selling only the best real ale, traditional cider and single malt whisky from independent producers. Prior to this I spent 12 years working as a financial administrator in private banking and investment management (work colleagues complimented me on being efficient, organised, level-headed and meticulous). In my free time I am constantly working to expand my skills in photography, photo editing and blogging. For many years I've been a beer enthusiast and CAMRA member.
