Duties:Under general direction, undertake one or more of the following,1. Maintain a database of financial information, ensuring that information in the database is regularly entered and accurately maintained. Undertake complex and simple data entry into a financial system, including the parking and processing, examination and reconciliation of all financial information.2. Examine accounts for payment in accordance with the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 (PGPA Act), Accountable Authority Instructions (AAIs) and Operational Guidelines (OGs) as required.3. Provide advice and assistance to all stakeholders as to whether financial transactions, cost centres, tax input credits and financial delegations (spending proposal approvals) have been properly exercised and approved.4. Liaise with vendors, suppliers and staff, as necessary, to clarify the purchasing processes and answer all queries from Programs, management, vendors and clients concerning those activities.5. Undertake and follow-up on investigations, reconciliations and/or enquires as directed.6. Comply with all Bureau work, health and safety policies and procedures, and take reasonable care for your own health and safety and that of employees, contractors and visitors who may be affected by your conduct.7. Be aware of, and apply as necessary, the principles and practices of the various elements of the Bureau's Social Justice Strategy.
