Products were mainly welding and casting from suppliers located mainly in Shangdon and Ningbo.

Wholly Own American company composed of 3 manufacturing divisions; Bearing – Stamping – Casting. I was acting as CFO and holder of the Legal Representative chop. I was also very much involved in the operations because the GM was not living full time in China. I had participated to increase a lot the profitability of that company following a turning points of a massive layoff of 200 workers over a period of 3 months. I was reporting directly to the CEO based in Cincinnati.

LB is a middle size accounting firm based in different cities in China providing accounting and business advisories mainly to foreigners companies. I was helping the companies on how to set up a company in China, implementing their accounting system and advising them about the Chinese regulations. I had stated my own consulting firm mainly for enterprises coming from Quebec that wants to do business in China. During that time I helped my former employer to find a potential buyer with the designated investment bank. I was also giving advisories to a French firm S.J. Grand International doing the same kind of business.

I have been traveling in more then 10 countries, mainly in Central America, North Africa and Asia. Reporting to the President, I was in charge of the financial aspect of the company (business plan, investment project, financing, preparing and negotiating JV agreement, etc…) and also responsible of the financial reporting of the 3 companies in China. Part of my job was to do internal auditing, budgeting and capital injection.

Coopers & Lybrand was the biggest Audit firm in the world at that time. I have obtain my Chartered Accountant certificate degree there (C.A.), I left the firm after obtaining Supervisor level. Which mean to supervises team of Junior and Senior associates. I had acquired experience of auditing company all kind of companies, from International to SME and various industries: manufacturing, services,
