    Working closely with hardware engineering, developed many firmwares for board bring up and stress testing of high end Alveo accelerator boards used in data center applications. These boards are based on Xilinx FPGA SOCs which include multiple ARM cores, PCIe host interface, accelerator engines for AI, machine learning and high speed networking.Developed bring up firmware and test applications for an automotive infotainment board. This board is based on AMD Ryzen x86 CPU using a high end Xilinx Versal FPGA SOC. Three firmwares were developed for three SOCs used on the board: An Infineon Aurix MCU, Audio DSP and FPGA ARM core. These were used extensively during bringup for DDR memory testing, PCIe root complex device scan and testing as well as many SPI and I2C peripherals and sensors.Developed a reusable, adaptable and configurable test framework that streamlined hardware engineering board bring up, debug and stress testing. The framework included a GUI with extensive menus that enabled an engineer to quickly test and debug high and low speed interfaces using a combination of JTAG boundary scan and chip firmware. This significantly reduced hardware bringup time to days.
