Awarded an Economic and Social Science Postdoctoral Research Fellowship.Project Title: “(Re)assessing the risk agenda: Exploring social discourses of risk and tailoring measures toreduce injury risk in recreational adolescent distance runners.”

Trial Manager for a feasibility randomised controlled trial of digital physical activity promotion for youngpeople with cystic fibrosis. Funded by the National Institute for Health Research.

Associate Prof. Alan Barker (principal applicant) and I (co-applicant) were successful in securing Economic and Social Research Council Impact Acceleration Account funding for two projects: (1) co creation of injury prevention measures for competitive adolescent distance runners, in partnership with England Athletics; and (2) Knowledge Exchange Fellowship.

Completion of MRes and PhD. Both qualifications were funded by the Economic and Social Research Council. England Athletics supported all research activities in-kind.

Provided teaching and marking support for undergraduate and postgraduate Sport and Health Sciencescourses, including delivery of a popular ‘writing skills helpdesk.’

Research and write scoping reviews and video scripts for projects delivered by Health and Care Innovations, in partnership with a range of health industry clients.

Researched and authored a POSTnote (#613) on the topic of "non-custodial sentences."

Undertook a Professional Training Year (part of undergraduate degree programme) as a Physical Education Teaching Assistant at King Edward’s School, Bath.
