-Executive on the development of category strategy in banking industry for sourcing categories such as IT, Professional services, Marketing, Banking Operations, Corporate Real Estate, Facility Management, with ownership of the strategic sourcing project portfolio (local, regional and global)-Leads and drives complex sourcing projects/category team projects across relevant business areas -Develops, evaluates and manages relationships with suppliers, category teams and other cross-functional teams-Develops, reviews, negotiates and executes complex business agreements -Supplier evaluation, selection and set-up of ongoing performance management -Coordinates the introduction of new / modified products and services with appropriate departments using extensive knowledge of category to reflect developments / innovations in the market place-Management of multiple end-to-end sourcing projects in parallel -Support broader transformation of the Category through supplier consolidation, PSLs, regional/global contracts, introducing consistent buying channels etc.-Ensure quality of content and compliance with relevant sourcing governance forums (challenge boards, fortnightly status meetings)-Assist in the application of a range of sourcing approaches, including the use of eSourcing, eAuction, PM to deliver the most appropriate business outcomes -Active participation to identify sourcing gaps for improvement and design of sourcing processes-Ensure the implementation of new procurement & supply chain tools at country level-Provide market analysis, benchmark data and supplier evaluation to support category planning and risk management-Work with procurement stakeholders to design market intelligence frameworks and support the creation of category strategies -Develop sourcing strategy and objectives among team members, coaching and ensuring a high level of professional excellence of the team making resource utilization decisions as appropriate.
