In IT terminology my contribution was primarily a fairly complex Java Struts MVC implementation, using servlets, jsp, javascript, html, struts, canoo webtest, ant. Underpinning this was a custom written threaded Java app backing onto Hibernate on MySQL. I provided Contract Engineering expertise to the Couran Cove resort and designed a complex Opto22 PLC program for creating stable pressure in a headless water supply with facility for zero supply outages during pump maintenance. I also contributed to the other water services projects on site, programmed an automated "running track", and wrote code for a number of other PLC programs on IDEC, Siemens and TI PLCs.

I programmed a number of complex product measurement, tracking and quality control systems using high speed resolvers, Allen-Bradley (Rockwell) PLCs and Citect SCADA. I also worked for a time on R&D for a kiln drying control system.
