Calibration Coordinator / Asset Management Responsibilities - Involves calibration and maintenance technical service activities as well as coordinating calibration schedules and workforce allocation. Expectations include parts planning and ordering, calibration scheduling, identifying resource needs to keep activities on time and client interactions. The Calibration Coordinator must build a high level of trust with the clients and provide customer service. Asset Management - is responsible for maintaining the Measurement Management System for controlled property that requires calibration/verification, non-calibration/verification, repair, assigning all incoming equipment a PC number, establishing and maintaining the calibration/verification intervals, required records, and certificates. will determine what equipment will need to be calibrated/verified based on the inputs from Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering Lab, and all other department managers using controlled property equipment. Asset Management shall verify, upon calibration/verification completion, that the appropriate method of calibration/verification was used, and the specified acceptance criteria have been metEnsure accurate and timely test data and calibration documentationMaintain and create asset management database of all adoption equipment acquired during the third phase of the adoption processReview calibration and maintenance activities and schedule needed work within the team while coordinating with clients as neededUse calibration knowledge to detect inconsistencies with scheduled work and advise with engineering when there are discrepanciesCommunicate with Engineering with technical requirements to complete the job at hand for internal calibration proceduresPlan and schedule monthly onsite calibration
