As Head of Mission for the Caritas Austria response to the 2010 earthquake in Haiti my main responsibilities were representing the organisation, leading a team of up to 20 international and local staff and ensuring security for all staff, developing partnerships with local partner organisations, and developing relief projects.

Uganda

As Acting Regional Director my responsibilities were the development and monitoring of technical assistance and financing projects in Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania. Furthermore, I was in charge of the management of the staff and finances of the Regional Office East Africa.

As Deputy Regional Director my main responsibilities were the development and monitoring of technical assistance and financing projects in Kenya and Tanzania, and the management of a micro-project fund and a capacity building project. Development of 2 Technical Assistance Projects in Tanzania; project monitoring, including financial re-planning of 4 financing projects; successful organisation of Annual General Meeting of all HORIZONT3000 Technical Advisors in East Africa and partner organisations.

Alberschwende Austria

As Project Coordinator I was in charge of developing an inter-regional project proposal on the promotion of renewable energy to be submitted to the EU funded Alpine Space Programme.

Burundi

As UNDP Programme Officer I was responsible for developing, monitoring and supporting UNDP financed projects and programmes, writing internal reports, organising project evaluations, organising project visits, responding to donor inquiries, representing UNDP at meetings with other agencies and act as liaison officer for ILO.

Egypt

As Deputy Regional Director I was responsible for ensuring the implementation of the organisation's guidelines and policies in member organisations in the Middle East, especially in Israel and the Palestinian Territories. My duties included to prepare and give presentations, organise and lead workshops, write reports, guide and coach staff in their responsibilities, develop and help implementing work plans and prepare budgets.

As Management Assistant for the Austrian Federation of Industry (Vorarlberg section) I was supporting the Managing Director in her work to promote industrial development in Vorarlberg. My duties included writing press articles, supporting the development of a corporate social responsibility network in Vorarlberg and managing the re-launch of the organisation's website.

As Zivildiener I supported a regional development project in Nicaragua. My tasks were in the fields of administration and accounting for the project.
