A smoothie bike is a stationary bike specially adapted with a blender on the front. As you pedal the energy is transferred via a dynamo to blend a healthy refreshing drink!Key Accountabilities:Having attended a vocational engineering course I chose to build a smoothie bike to learn various design, engineering and welding techniques. This project quickly grew into a small business, and now I have successfully built three Smoothie Bikes that are available for hire.Responsible for the design of the branding and advertising material as well as the construction of the website and social media channelsCompleted level 2 Food Safety Course and achieved a 5 star food rating from the Food Standards Agency Notable Achievements in Role: Provided the bikes to various companies such as GSK, Civil Aviation Training Solutions, Schlumberger PLC & WSCC to promote healthy livingUsed by Masterchef 2018 winner Kenny Tutt to promote the “Fight Against Food Waste” event in Chichester and CrawleyThe bikes have been used by various disability groups including Out There and Kangaroo ClubAttended various events including the Big Local Play Day, Rusper May Fair, Minis by the Sea & Kangafest as well as numerous fetes and groups.Smoothie bikes are a fun way of promoting healthy living and are great for events, corporate functions, schools, parties and weddings.

As a sideline to other work I've also undertaken some interior and exterior design and construction projects involving painting and decorating which I enjoy. I have assisted on refitting and redecorating kitchens, bathrooms, en-suites, hallways, etc. I've also built a wood surround for a Lay-Z-Spa hot tub. Please see attached photos.

In 2005 I was lucky enough to become one of the few people in the world to dive two and a half miles down to the wreck of the Titanic and see it firsthand. Since then I give a presentation on my experience showing video footage and photos. I also give a bit of background history on the ship and it's sinking.
