Being part of an amazing team that created a new Marketplace from the ground up while being responsible for:- Created a system of scalable and performant microservices in NodeJS and NestJS, all working smoothly together and synchronized via PubSub and REST.- Central data processing service that fetches data from external third-party systems like Mirakl and Hyperwallet in real time and updates all microservices.- Individual services that process Orders, Offers, Products and Sellers, and evaluates, ranks and notifies internal and external systems in the whole e commerce chain of Marketplace.- Implemented a streaming pipeline for updating business data in real time to a BigQuery database for further business analytics processing.- Improved the orchestration service using GraphQL which takes the data from the Marketplace APIs for each business domain and serves it to the React frontend.- Maintained and implemented new features for the existing mediamarkt.de and saturn.de React Frontend in the Marketplace section.and many more :)
