Perform project management for large capital expansion at Union Gas for both pipelines (up to NPS 48) and compressor stations (up 96,000 hp). These are multi-year projects progressing through six project phases with capital expenditures up to $330 million. All projects have been managed on time and under budget.

Manage the field program for the Spectra Energy Westcoast Connector Gas Transmission Project. This is a develop project to deliver natural gas to the BC Westcoast to support the LNG export. The project is a 48" pipeline (740 km onshore and 120 km offshore) with up to 5 compressor stations.

Lead a group of 8 people accountable for small to medium capital and maintenance construction (1 million to 25 million) activities at Union Gas throughout Ontario. The group will typical have a profoilo of project in the range of 20 to 40 million per year. This group is also the key resource for managing the companies integrity program on its transmission and high pressure distribution pipelines

Manage, maintain and develop hydraulic models for Union Gas' distribution and transmission system for both existing and new pipelines and stations.

Develop procedures and processes for Union Gas operations to achieve a company wide delivery of key performance measures throughout Ontario to seven Districts and over 400 communities from a central planning and dispatch model.

Evaluate current and new technology for implementation within Union Gas in areas on construction, maintenance, and operations to improve efficiency, safety and ergonomics.

Toronto, Canada Area

Administer and manage the development of Canadian and North American gas standards for gas burning equipment. Examples for areas administered would be boilers, water heaters, barbeques and gas fireplaces. Duties were to organize committee meetings, take minutes, develop standard content in association with committee members. Performed chairman duties for several task groups and was a key contributor for several certification and efficiency standards.

Toronto, Canada Area

Develop certification testing programs to qualify gas burning equipment and demonstrate their ability to meet the requirements of the relevant Canadian Standards.
