In my role as Director of Site Protection at Princeton University, I led a team to reorganize the department for improved efficiency and decision-making. I directed the design of security and life safety systems for new buildings and renovations, and successfully implemented a new campus standard for fire alarm systems. Re-organized Site Protection department to improve the alignment of roles within the department and simplify staff reporting structure to enhance the department’s ability to operate with increased efficiency and improved decision making. Directed all security and life safety (fire) system design for new buildings, renovations to existing buildings, and special projects which required a unique approach due to people, locations, and risks involved. Led a fire alarm working group of cross-functional participants in developing and gaining adoption of a new campus standard for the suitable future use of enhanced fire alarm system components at the University.

In my role as Head of Corporate Security at Shire, I led the alignment of legacy security programs, creating a unified approach to electronic security systems, travel security, and crisis management. I also spearheaded the integration of multiple electronic security systems into one efficient monitoring system for the new enterprise, resulting in improved security measures and cost savings. Streamlined legacy Shire and Baxalta security programs, creating one Corporate Security function aligned on one common approach to electronic security systems, travel security, crisis management, and investigations. Led development and acceptance of the strategy and implementation plan to efficiently align multiple legacy electronic security systems into one card access, alarm, and CCTV monitoring system for the new enterprise. Created the company's first internal Aviation department which entailed establishing new supplier relationships, hiring a flight crew, measuring productivity and service levels, and implementing smart adjustments as needed. Achieved exceptional trip completion rate.

In my role as Senior Director of Global Risk & Security Management at Shire, I accepted additional responsibilities for security operations in Lexington, leading to relocation. I delivered security services and addressed emerging threats in over 30 geographic areas with a consolidated operating budget. Accomplished full revision of the Enterprise Risk Management Program streamlining the risk review processes and developed a user-friendly report output for quick consumption and understanding of data by senior executives. Eliminated internal confusion across functions by creating and implementing clear response protocols for managing reported supply chain security issues and responding to government agencies regarding product-related inquiries. Led companywide Business Continuity Plan (BCP) assessment and implementation. Achieved the completion and implementation of 75+ plans for business functions across the organization.

In my role as Senior Director of Corporate Security at Shire in Wayne, Pennsylvania, I successfully addressed organizational vulnerabilities, managed Workplace Violence issues, and implemented industry best practices. I developed a Technical Surveillance Countermeasures program to reduce the risk of information theft and streamlined the company's Enterprise Risk Management program. Developed a bespoke security program to support ongoing Board of Director meetings.

Led the development of a global security function at Shire, implemented a uniform threat assessment procedure, and implemented the company's first Employee Travel Assistance program. Collaborated with industry leaders to develop a supply chain security program, and streamlined investigative data storage for quicker case-related analysis and tracking.

In my role as Director of Global Security at Colgate-Palmolive, I led the development and implementation of a successful Kidnap Prevention and Personal Safety training seminar in Mexico City. This program's success led to its expansion to other countries in the region, showcasing my ability to deliver high-quality security services and manage a significant operating budget effectively. Developed and implemented a model for cargo security in Latin America, reducing losses and addressing unique challenges. Managed a considerable operating budget and two direct reports with domestic and international responsibilities. Second in command for the Global Security function.

In my role as Associate Director of Global Security at Colgate-Palmolive, I led the implementation of a global third party compliance training program to ensure C-TPAT validation. I collaborated with Global Supply Chain leadership to develop and implement a Global Warehouse Physical Security Guideline across 20 domestic and international subsidiaries. Additionally, I provided security support at Company events and conducted Technical Surveillance Countermeasures Inspections to enhance facility security.

As the Manager of Security for Colgate-Palmolive in North America, I oversaw security operations for 20 facilities, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the safety and security of our locations. I conducted site security surveys, collaborated with various departments to transition security personnel, and investigated security incidents to protect our facilities and products in transit.

In my role as Security Manager at Colgate-Palmolive, I transformed the security function for the division, turning it into a model for the corporation through innovative concepts. I conducted site security surveys in various locations, led the Crisis Management Team, developed training programs, and managed the department’s budget effectively.

In my role as a Security Supervisor at Kenvue (formerly the McNeil Consumer Products division of Johnson & Johnson) in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, I managed security, cafeteria, and employee store functions within a large multi-use facility. I was responsible for leading security management and response to consumer-reported product inquiries, complaints, and suspected tampering issues. Additionally, I developed and coordinated training for the first volunteer Bomb Threat Search Team, and managed event and VIP security support for various high-profile events.

In my role as Security Supervisor at Johnson & Johnson in New Brunswick, New Jersey, I oversaw the security operations at the corporate headquarters. I restructured the site evacuation program to ensure efficiency and safety, while also providing training to contract security personnel to enhance service delivery.
