SimplexGrinnell is a recognized leader in the sales and service of state of the art monitor and control systems for fire alarm, security, sound, nurse call, portable fire extinguishers, suppression and sprinkler systems. My sales role is a result of our continued growth which requires the need for an Electronic Service Sales Rep. in our Denver, CO location. I've been in this role since 2005 and have nearly 20 years in the Life Safety industry dating back to 1993.RESPONSIBILITIES:· Contact existing customer base to sell small to medium fire alarm service jobs, tenant improvements/remodels, small system retrofit solutions and system upgrades.· Prepare proposals and financial justifications for bids.· Prepare accurate and complete scopes of work and hand off packages to the project management team.· Consultative Sales approach- Focus on end user, General Contractor & Electrical Contractor relationships· Schedule sales calls, follow up on leads, closing the deal.· Develop and maintain active proposal backlog that will support achieving sales goals.· Team player with positive, professional attitude, demeanor, coach-able and growth oriented.· Develop Market knowledge of competitors and products.· Work closely with Deficiency Sales Reps to quote and close large deficiencies (over $4K)Perform additional duties as required.
