I started my career at a Civil & Structural Engineering Consultancy, then progressed my skills over the past 21 years working within many different workstreams in the Telecommunications Industry.Progressing from draughtsman / structural technician to Surveyor and ultimately Project Manager, I have been involved in the delivery of the 2G network rollouts for all MNO's and the Tetra network for Airwave.During my time self employed, I contracted to Vodafone as a Delivery Manager and O2 as a Regional Build Manager on the associated 3G rollout deliveries, before moving to Airwave to undertake a Design & Commercial / QS role on the GBNr Project.Once permenent at Airwave, I progressed to the 'London 2012 Delivery Team', where I undertook Design, Commercial and Delivery duties for the Sectorisation of London, the independent LOCOG network and the OSD enhancements to the Airwave Network.Following the installation of all London 2012 delivery elements, the Team was disbanded and I joined the National Delivery Team as a Senior Project Manager. My roles within this team included:Supplier Management, Procurement, Commercial Management, managing the NTQ portfolio, the decommission (& associated Logistics Management of all decommissioned components) of the London 2012 enhancements, management of internal workstream transitions, carrying out internal investigations for the Board Of Directors and aiding the Bid Submission team of key submissions.
