My career is more than a job function, it’s been an honor for me to drive strategic planning + sales growth initiatives as a freight forwarder, serving as a proactive partner to leadership teams in translating market gaps into viable domestic and international opportunities. My skillset spans across a wide range of functions and thus far I have:• Built partnerships throughout the U.S., Central Europe, and Asia while developing an international forwarding presence.• Cultivated relationships with all levels of stakeholders, securing the backing of two private equity firms, backing the purchase of a freight forwarder in Minnesota.• Negotiated complex logistics contracts with global partners.• Hired, trained, and mentored employees, carving the path forward and giving rise to new leaders.The foundation for my leadership abilities was laid when I helped paved the way for the launch of Manna Freight, negotiating contracts with US-based airlines and Less-than-Truckload (LTL) carriers to haul cargo and sourced local pickup and delivery agents in each State to provide pickup and delivery services —growing the business from infancy to millions of dollars in revenue. I’ve worked alongside decision-makers, created the playbooks needed to translate strategy into actionable goals, and mobilized and inspired teams behind change.
