I have been a faculty member at Lazaridis School of Business and Economics (Wilfrid Laurier University) since 1998. I received my Ph.D. from the University of Waterloo. I teach mainly accounting in the MBA program. My research interests are in the informativeness of bank credit agreements, the value relevance of accounting information and the impact of earnings disclosure. I have published my research in several journals including Contemporary Accounting Research, Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of Accounting and Public Policies, Review of Quantitative Finance and Accounting, Managerial and Decision Economics and Canadian Tax Journal. My work was presented at multiple conferences in North America and Europe.
