Oversee the day to day operations and administration of the Police Dept. , manage case load and refer cases to city and county prosecutors . Investigate all crimes that occur in the city . Supervise 2 Full Time and 5 Part Time Police officers. Meet with County Sheriff and attend Department meetings, County Police Chief meetings, City Council meetings, attend training and seminars . Serve on several local boards and committee's Patrol the city and respond to calls for police service .

Patrol the City in a marked police vehicle. Protect life and property , respond to calls for service, assist county deputies and other law enforcement agencies out in the county as requested. Assist other city employees as needed.

FT Licensed Deputy Sheriff assigned to Water Patrol Unit , Patrol County Parks, Open Spaces, Lakes and the Mississippi River in St Paul . Operated Marked Squad cars, Boats and ATVs in an assigned patrol area & respond to calls for service . Assist other law enforcement agencies in the county. Oversee and direct non licensed Reserve Deputies at civic events .
