Operations Technician
Greater Denver Area; Houston, Texas Area
• Monitoring customer applications and over 1,000 operational architecture through a NOC environment• Understand the facility support systems (power, HVAC, fire detection/suppression, security);• Ensuring physical security and facility infrastructure are within established operational parameters• Advising customers in architecture design, implementation, physical layout, etc.• Providing customer service excellence in providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 Customer Support• Building Windows-based operating systems (Server 2003/2000) and device configuration• Responding to and updating tickets in accordance with department procedures• Assisting with technology installation to include securing of cabinets, racking of equipment, and cabling of devices• Performing written and verbal turnover of open issues/upcoming maintenance at the end of each shift
