After serving my time as a Marine apprentice in a ship repair yard, I joined the British merchant navy as a marine engineer, After 8 years I commenced working in the oil and gas industry, 10 years on the Texaco Tartan in the North Sea as a mechanical technician I decided to move closer to home and commenced a Commissioning Engineers position on Tyneside and after several short term contracts back in the North Sea I then moved to West Africa Angola,I have worked my way up from a mechanical technician to Maintenance lead, competency assessor, offshore and onshore maintenance supervisor, working in North Sea, Angola, Azerbaijan, Equatorial Guinea, Cameroon, Uganda, and now Papua New Guinea, I have gained a great deal of experience working with multi- cultured, multi- nationalities In all aspects of maintaining oil and gas plants both onshore and offshore, and pipelines in remote locations..For a full work History please request my CV at my personal e mail address
