Robert is a retired senior transportation planning and engineering consultant. Robert is a Professional Engineer in Ontario (designated as a Consulting Engineer in Ontario in1987), a Life Member of the Institute of Transportation Engineers, a Member of the Canadian Institute of Planners, a Registered Professional Planner in Ontario (ret) and a Member of LAI. Robert has served as Chair of the Greater Toronto Transportation Conference, President of the Toronto Section of the Institute of Transportation Engineers, and as President of Simcoe (Toronto) Chapter of LAI.From September 2017 to November 2019, Robert served as International President of Lambda Alpha International (LAI -- an Honorary Society for the Advancement of Land Economics) leading the organization of over 2000 members in 29 chapters throughout the USA and Canada, and in London, Tokyo, Madrid, Abu Dhabi and Pune, India. Robert was employed by BA Consulting Group Ltd. transportation consultants between 1975 and 2017 and served as its CEO for 21 years between 1991 and 2012. Robert was also CEO and Managing Director of Spectrum Traffic Data Inc. a leading supplier of transportation data services to private and public sector customers in Canada from 2012 to 2023. Robert served as the Senior Transportation Consultant on the Amman Master Plan team between 2006 and 2008. The Greater Amman Municipality of Jordan was awarded the 2007 World Leadership Award for Town Planning in recognition of the Master Plan. Robert has served as a volunteer director of the Wymbolwood Nature Preserve Ltd. and the Federation of Tiny Township Shoreline Associations.
