At Pro Global Media Ltd I'm the editorial director of Global Cement Magazine and Global Gypsum Magazines, and organiser of their associated conferences on subjects such as cement and clinker, gypsum, insulation, slag and slag products, waste heat recovery, fuels for cement and lime, decarbonisation in cement and concrete, cement industry CCUS, cement-based boards, cement and clinker trade and transport, and on gypsum supply. I manage or co-manage on some of the largest industry groups on these subjects on LinkedIn.For 20 years, 2004-2024, I organised the very tough 'Trionium' races. All of the races were named the best in Britain at their distance (Best 10k, Best Half, Best Marathon etc) by Runner's World Magazine, while two of the races were named the overall 'Best race in Britain' (Midsummer Munro in 2008 and Leith Hill Half in 2015). I also organised the Irish Sailing and Mountaineering Adventure Challenge three times, in 2018, 2019 and in 2022. The various races donated over £85k to charity. The Knacker Cracker, Leith Hill Half, UK Wife Carrying Race, Midsummer Munro half and Bath Hilly Half have now all been taken over by new organisers, and will continue.
