The SolutionWorks Foundations team solves client issues with backend nodes in a Tier 2/3 support position. Some software involved:- Cerner Millennium- IBM WebSphere Message Queuing (MQ)- IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS)- Oracle 11g/SQL- Red Hat Linux Enterprise- IBM AIX- LDAP (AD LDS/ADAM)Familiarity with the following:- HIPAA- ITIL Foundations• Supporting Cerner Millennium Foundational components such as Operations, Enterprise Messaging (MQ), Date/Time, security, client connectivity, Olympus, and general system performance issues• Supporting the Cerner Lights On Network portal in a technical manner through ensuring the proper feeds were intact to populate the dashboard and to address user-specific issues and concerns• Member of the on-call rotation for Millennium Foundations system-critical, downtime patient impactful and/or financial issues for Client-Hosted clients concerning Millennium Foundational components• Assigned between three and ten Service Records (SRs) each day (dependent on volume) as the primary owner of the client issue with the expectation of driving the issue to full resolution• Assisting other SolutionWorks teams in addressing issues that include Foundational components• Helping drive process improvement by identifying problem areas in incoming SR volume to help increase client satisfaction and allow more client self-service and troubleshooting avenues to reduce SR volume• Identifying issues and bugs in Foundations and Lights On supported code, and sometimes in other teams’ code, and engaging software engineering in identifying root case and creation of flashes and Change Records (CRs) to reduce client impact with using Cerner software• Performance metrics include a constant 99% client satisfaction rating as well as consistently holding the lowest backlog of SR volume on the team since joining the team

- Supporting US Army Mission Command (MC) exercises via the Warfare Simulation (WARSIM) MC Adapter and Gateway- Supporting Command Post of the Future (CPOF) and Battle Command Common Services (BCCS) to include Active Directory, Sharepoint, Microsoft SQL Server, and Exchange running on VMware- Coordinating support requirements via teleconferences and travel-required meetings- Building servers and clients, emplacing systems, and supporting users during exercises from deployment to redeployment- Deploying for month-long exercises at military bases around the world to include South Korea, Germany, Japan, United States, and Italy for 24/7 exercise support- Keeping in compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) security and certification requirements
